So you think you can write? SyndicateX is always looking for reviews of new or recent games for any platform. If you have a favorite game that we haven’t already written about we may post your review. If your review is posted, your name or alias will appear at the bottom of the review and can be linked to your email address if you want. Reviewers may be eligible for special prizes or discounts when we receive them from manufacturers. Below are some tips to help you write a good review or article that we can use!

Tips for Writing Usable Articles

Format and Style:
Check out our past articles and reviews to get an idea of our style. We strive for a snappy dialog that is informative but fun to read. References to Ninja Pirate Monkey Bots are a plus.
If you are writing a review make sure to follow the format of our reviews. Make sure you have a quick summary paragraph and then detail about each section. Don’t forget to include the rating numbers.

Length:
Your review should be long enough to be interesting but don’t write a book. Include as much detail as possible about the various aspects of the game. Write objectively, readers want to know the facts. Most people are looking at reviews trying to decide whether or not to buy a game. Help them with that decision. Just because you’re really into dungeons and dragons doesn’t mean the reader will be, try to mention what groups will appreciate the game (fans of RPGs, fans of Lord of the Rings, strategy lovers…etc)

Language:
If you use offensive language in an article it will either be edited or discarded altogether. It’s great that you feel that strongly but try to be more eloquent.

Submission:
You can submit your article by contacting us. Make sure and include your name or alias so we can give credit where credit is due.

Editing:
We will edit your work but please use spell check. Your article will be adjusted to include keywords about the subject you are writing about to improve the chances that people can find it on Google. By submitting your article, you indicate that you are willing for us to edit it to best fit the context of our site.

Copyrights:
When you submit an article you are giving us the right to post it at will. You may submit the same article to other sites if you wish but we reserve the right to edit and post your article as we please. You will be paid NOTHING but you will receive byline credit for your work. If we receive special prizes, gear, games or other goodies from our manufacturing partners we are very likely to share this with anyone who has contributed to our site but we make no promises regarding tangible rewards.

Plagiarism:
Plagiarism is evil. If you submit an article or review that is not ENTIRELY your own work you are racking up some VERY BAD JUJU. May Ninja Pirate Monkey Bots eat your rotting brains. Do not submit work that is not your own.
